Check your nappy fit!
It's easy to forget to do those little final checks that could stave off a disasterous leakage. Just like the stupid frilly bits on disposables cloth nappies have some points to remember....
1) Lift your babies bum to check the gape of the legs - nappy should be tight without leaving red marks and no large gaping holes
2) Check that the nappy is fully covered by a wrap or that all parts are tucked in properly
3) Check that baby vest isn't pulling too tight on the nappy once it's fastened this can encourage urine to wick out and make clothes soggy
4) Check the waist with baby standing - make sure it's not too tight or loose and that any velcro isn't scratching baby's tummy
Enjoy a stress free few hours before the next nappy change. |
