There are many reasons to use cloth nappies on your baby.
- Money: although a large financial outlay they will save you money in the long run - especially if you use them on subsequent children. You can't do that with disposables!
- Re-sale: there is a booming second hand market for reusable nappies, particularly fitted and pocket nappies.
- Individual: there are many designs, choices and colours to suit all tastes and wallets.
- Comfort: you wouldn't wear paper pants so why should your baby? Cloth is soft, keeps moisture from your baby and contains no harsh chemicals.
- Very absorbant: different materials can be used and different amounts of padding to provide tailored absorption for your child.
- Nappy rash is no worse in cloth than disposables!
- There is more "padding" when learning to walk to cushion the many falls on the bottom.
